A leading Australian cannabis company has made a strategic change that it feels will bring its marketing capabilities more in line with the patient. 17 marketing people were made redundant, most of whom “have never punched a cone in their life”, says the MD.

Of the 17 who were made redundant, each received a free clinic appointment as long as the product SKU they also owned, was prescribed. One ex-staff member claimed "I only found out when my staff discount down at the dispo didn't work!".

The MD concluded, “We welcome hotbong69 and firechiefgiddyup with open arms and hope their intimacy with the plant will enable precision cut-through. This is a decision made solely around driving a better ROI”. When asked if there were concerns of potential breaches resulting from the work of the two new recruits, the MD said, “na man, these dudes are mad dogs!”.
